Went to the Greensboro, NC gunshow today. Sat the 28th.
Really nice crowded show. The best one we have in the area twice a year.
Saw some average 99's overpriced as usual. Crowd made it all but impossible to view the guns and products on the vendors tables.

Not a total loss. Found 4 boxes of NOS 300 Savage Silvertips.
Every once in a while you have a good day!!

I got some a while back, same same. Always fun looking, never know what you'll find. You plan on shooting the ammo or just sitting on it? I got three boxes of this-

Probably will try a few to see if they shoot well in my EG.

I love gun shows.

Never know what you're going to find...

Went to show in central Wisconsin today with about dozen 99s. Nice 22hp takedown I may be getting. Another vendor with 22hp for $2500 and I could not see what made that one special. Decent 38-55 for $1300. 250 99R for $800. I did get Savage brand full box 222 for $25. Had spot where a price sticker was probably pulled off? And a little wear around the edges. Crazy that only 1 out of every 3 tables had guns, but I guess that's normal these days?

I was at that casino show and sold that pre war takedown 99 EG in 300 sav. The person who bought it liked the blueing work and was happy with it.
Show was 50% none gun stuff but I guess the promoter wants to sell out tables.
Small wold it is.

Picked up an Italian o/u .410 today at our local show. In new condition and is between 45-50 years old, late 60's. 26" barrels. Light as a feather. Lucky day.

Interesting story. Military man stationed overseas brought a bunch of guns back with him, or shipped them back, and stored them since the late 1960's. When he died, his family discovered them. At least that's the story. Gun looks unfired. So slim and light. I'm in love. Similar to this one on GI.

Nice. I got my 28 gauge Anschutz (Miroku) O/U under the same circumstances- brought back by an Air Force officer.
