My prayers go out to his family.

I didn't know he was sick, but the last couple weeks I sensed a change in his posts.

Damn.

Bob was very gracious with his knowledge and his time.

He sent me dummy rounds when I was putting together a Mashburn, answered a ton of questions.

RIP Bob, the fire has been diminished by your loss.

Sad News. I will miss him.

His post were always informative, well formed, and based on actual experience.

His dedication to the .270 Win, and the 7mm Mashburn Super Magnum were almost paradoxical, yet he was steadfast.

We are all the poorer for his passing.
I will especially miss his honest insights.

RIP Bob

He just posted yesterday morning! Godspeed, Bob. The Campfire is a lesser place with your loss.

RIP Sir. I never had the pleasure of speaking with him, but his posts were always enjoyable and authoritative. Prayers sent for his friends and family, in this difficult time.

RIP buddy!

Bob was always willing to burn up an hour talking about bullets, the Mashburn and anything related to hunting or good danged rifles. I built my 1st and now 2nd Mashburn according to his blueprint and he supplied me with my first BBC's to "try" out.. Dang fella hooked me!

Prayers to your family buddy and I know your in Vahalla taking it to the big elk and deer up there! Scotty

Here is a shot of Bob on a small hill in CT this past Fall. Our buddy Matt drug him out for a little hunting. Pretty sure that is one of his beautiful P64 30-06's.. He sent me the picture of the group shooting 180 Federals for deer hunting.. I'll just say the ol boy kept them tight all the way to the end!

Here he was checking it out on the 300 yard range..

He still gunned them with the best of em! Hopefully Heaven is full of good P64's and Partitions... He'll do well on the otherside.

I'm so sad.... as jorge said,"the Campfire is a lesser place" and WE are diminished...

Groundhog day will always be a sad day for me.

Prayers for the FAMILY.

ps: I have several of his pics in my photo album--760, 280 carbine and bucks from '2015. Treasures.

Sad deal.

Another good guy gone.

I didn't always agree with everything he posted, but always respected the man.
