I only knew him through all of his posts and a few pm's exchanged back & forth here, but it was easy to see he was one of the best all the way. RIP, Bob. Prayers to all of the friends and family.

He was quite a guy. He was an unusual guy in that he didn't much waver in what he liked and pursued in the way of hunting and shooting.
And always a classy guy. An old school type of guy. Many of us could stand to be a little more like him.

RinB; Thanks for sharing this sad news with us.
I enjoyed a few PM's back and forth with Bob over the years and always appreciated his candor and his willingness to share what he knew. I'll miss that for sure.
My thoughts and prayers are with the friends and family left behind.

I did not know BobinNH personally yet tonight I'm drinking a Stella Artois Belgium with a slice of lemon in memory of all Bobin brought to the fire.
Tonight I dream of a pre 64 M70 winchester chambered in 270 with a custom 9 twist barrel.
Here's to BobinNH

Wow. Sad news, indeed.
One of the best guys on the forum. Of course he'll be missed around here, but my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.

May the family find peace, this is a surprise, very knowledgeable guy with class, our philosophies paralleled often on elk hunting and such. Adios fellow outdoorsman.
