Anyone try the factory Ammo? What twist rate needed to stabilize these? Thanks

Haven't tried that ammo..but I tried some 75 Amaxes in a 1 in 9 twist and I could have shot a better group with a recurve bow without sights! eek

LOL, I bet you probably could. I have a couple of 223 but they are 1-9". Saw the Ammo at Academy for $10.99 a box thought it was a heck of a deal.

1-9" will spin the BTHP, an Amax in the same twist is a coin flip.

What Brett said. I've had a bunch of 1 in 9 223s and I've never had one that wouldn't stabilize the 75 HPBT.
The Amax is another story

Well I tried them in my Savage axis and the 75s were over MOA, but in my Marlin XS7 it shot them sub MOA, so I'm a happy camper with these.
