I live in a suburban city where one cannot cut down nor prune his trees without a permit, and it must be done by someone with a licence.
We would need a really good reason to cut down a tree, to get a permit.
The other suburban cities we border have the same type of laws.
It is expensive, crowded, and liberal here. The only things keeping me here are the wife and the grandkids.

Do what my wife and I did 19 years ago MOVE out of that schitthole!
Yeah we left some grandkids there and 4 children but we both agree it was the best decision we have ever made in our lives!
I have NO doubt what so ever that moving out of socialist taxington and to Montana has added MANY years to my life - and the quality of our lives has increased by 100% (doubled!)!
