Brian Lee Golsby also is charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery, according to the Grove City Division of Police.
Tokes, a 21-year-old senior at Ohio State, was shot to death Wednesday night after leaving work at Bodega Columbus, the Franklin County Coroner’s office said.
Her roommates filed a missing person report the following morning; the same day, a jogger would discover her body near the entrance to Scioto Grove Metro Park.
"We extend our heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends," Ohio State said in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this extremely difficult time."
Tokes, who would have celebrated her 22nd birthday March 9, had been preparing to graduate with a degree in psychology.
Grove City police said the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Columbus Division of Police and The Ohio State University Police Division helped in the investigation.

Yes they can, Execution seems to rehabilitate them just fine. Well, I should have said, other than execution. The left wants to give them 2nd and 3rd chances but it just doesn't work. That was my point.

Only 6 years for rape and kidnapping? Sounds more like 40 to 50 years at a minimum for those two conviction would be about right. But, then if there is enough evidence to convict of rape then just kill him.

Here's what get's me.....17 year old high school boy has consensual sex with 25 year old female teacher, and they put teacher in jail and she is a sex offender for the rest of her life. Man kidnaps and rapes a woman, against her will, and is back out on the street in a few years. Now, before anyone gets their panties in a wad, I'm not condoning sex between a student and teacher, but the cold hard fact is that it's been going on since the beginning of time. Also, there's not a man on here that didn't have a teacher in school that they didn't think was "hot", and if given a chance woulda banged her. But, there is a huge difference between a man or woman who has consensual sex with another person, and someone who rapes a woman against her will. That rapist should, at the very least have his cajones removed so he won't have the urge again. I have never understood the rationale of letting violent offenders back out on the street, when it's pretty well common knowledge that they be a repeat offender. They shouldn't even have a trial for this Negro.....just hang his ass.
