Hey guys, I've got a t3 in .308. I bought a b&c medalist for it awhile back, and I've noticed a lot of contact with the tang and the stock. I'm not even sure the metal is contacting the aluminum block at the rear action screw. Certainly can not fit a piece of paper between the tang and stock. Just wondering if anybody had this issue with the same setup, and wanted to see what you guys suggest.

Thanks,
Kyle

When you say tang I think of the rear of the action, including the rear action screw. Is this what you mean?

My T3 in a B&C Medalist looks like this:

Obey lawful commands. Video interactions. Hold bad cops accountable. Problem solved.

Yes, right behind the rear action screw is what I'm talking about. It seems like there's enough fiberglass under the tang that I doubt the steel on the action right at the rear screw is even touching the aluminum bedding block like it's supposed to. My original thought was to just removed the fiberglass with dremel until I can slide paper between tang and fiberglass under the tang. But figured I'd run it by some people on here first.

Always figgered those racks were for carrying bikes, not guns, but I guess with a small car you gotta carry rifles some how!

I would have never thought of carrying my rifle like that. Thanks for the tip.
