Anyone have an idea what one is worth? It is a smaller version of his famous Drop Point, with an original sheath. Never been out of its box... Thoughts?
Thanks, Paul

not much, send it to me... Seriously, if you want a real valuation, reach out to VinceM here and he can probably help you get a real value on what you have and probably help put you in contact with some collectors that will pay a fair price if you're of a mind to sell it. Dale

Seen em in the $3,ooo-$3,500 range used. As always, condition is the major factor...sounds like you have a good one there.

Thanks, Paul Buying or selling? Sure would like to see pics as I don't recall many members here owning one.

Paul Unless you have others, regardless of market value hang on to it. Or send it to me for safe keeping. Tim

A lot depends on the vintage, where it was made, etc.
The maker's mark/logo should be telling.

$5-15k+.

Let's just say, with makers marks, condition, etc. It turns out you have one that is worth 8k...just saying...
That ideal price,is for a good day in retail market.
You would need a buyer. A buyer spending 8k on a knife wants to deal with someone he is comfortable with. So a dealer will get the 8k. You would be very lucky to get that.
I sold one once that was appraised by two dealers known for Loveless knives. It was 10 k USA market,12 k in Japanese market. Again,on a good day, retail.
I was able to get 7500. for it,with the nod from my client. Sold to a third dealer who specialized in loveless knives. He originally offered me less & we met at the price. Everyone walked away happy. The owner had a few hundred in it.
I know a few guys that are into this sort of knife,it's a specialty thing
Website : New website coming soon thanks for your patience
