Do any of you guys have some loading experiences with the 7mm Rem Mag and the 140 gr Nosler Accubond you would share? I'm trying to make a decision on what powder to use for the greatest velocity out of a 26" Sendero. I would love to see some of your chronograph speeds of different powders using this bullet.

Just about any of the good 7mm Rem Mag powders will get 3100+ out of a 140. RL19, RL22, RL25, RL26, Magpro, H4831, H4350, and so on. I am using RL26 in my 7mm WSM with the 140 Partitions and get 3250 from them without drama. Your's will do it even easier.

Great bullet in the 7RM for deer sized critters. I've had great luck in several 7RMs with 69g H4831 for 3200fps. R22 will get you faster MVs. The 4350s or R17 are also good ones to try.

Not a 140gr Accubond, but my Winchester Model 70 in 7mm Rem. Mag. shoots the 140gr Barnes T-TSX into itty bitty groups using 71.0 gr of IMR 7977. This load chronographed at 3,100 fps(IMR's max charge for 7977 w/140gr bullet in 7mm Rem Mag is 72.0 gr.). My load didn't exhibit any high pressure signs and I wouldn't hesitate to go up another grain to max out at 72 but accuracy was so good at 3100 fps that I didn't see any point in pushing the envelope. In my experience these new Enduron powders from IMR are a lot less sensitive to temperatures than other powders such as RL 19 and RL 22(both of which are fine powders). RL 26 mentioned above is another excellent temp insensitive powder that will give you top velocities if your gun likes it(mine didn't).

Good luck. 7mm Rem. Mag is one of the all-time greats, and a favorite of mine.

I've had the best luck with RL22 in my 7mags. I've found that the closer you get to max pressure the more accuracy you get.

I use IMR 7828 in my 7mm Remington Magnum, 69.0 grains. Barnes TTSX 140 grain bullets.

My 7 mags like the 140 over Re22. I also like IMR7828.

I use 64 grains of IMR 4350 with accubonds or ballistic tips. I gonna try some Reloader 22, it works really well in my 270 Weatherby and 300 Win mag.
