Among the newer IMR powders which one would you try first shooting 110gr bullets through 270 Win?

IMR Pink
Seriously, I have not researched them enough yet to give a good recommendation. I need to fix that.

Wondering if you might have some experience with the IMR 4451?
Thanks Jim

I do not as of yet . Sorry , but it is in the right burn rate category for your needs. I do hear good things from others in various applications with it.

IMR-4451 is near 4350 in speed, but has temp stable and anti Copper fouling coatings.
IMR-4166 is near 4895 in speed, but has temp stable and anti Copper fouling coatings.
I have killed a lot of deer with 270 130 gr 50 gr 4895, 3.34" @2875 fps, 22" barrel. That powder is too fast and that load too wimpy, but out to 400 yards it always gets the job done.

4451 has worked so well for me that I don't know if I will buy 4350 again. If I can get it, I will try 4166 this year. Perhaps it will replace 4895 and 3031. 3031 has long been my favorite "light load" powder. GD

I feel the same way, when my 4350's are gone I'm just going to roll with IMR-4451 as I'm trying to reduce the number of different types of powder I have on hand.
