Needed a new barn gun as I was afraid my 62-A or browning SA might grow legs and run off. The cheap-azz little Ruger should handle the chore just fine. Heck, it even feeds and extracts crimped birdshot like a boss.....

You didn't get a threaded RAR? For shame! That was uncharacteristic of you (being diplomatic here, Don).
You could just spin one off your pistols and put it on the Compact, it would have saved some money somewhere down the line..............
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.

I have a threaded RAR compact. It is tricked out, and worth more, than what I'm willing to leave in the barn.... Besides, I don't wanna run a buncha birdshot thru my longrange 22.....

Those starlings make fun wingshooting targets too. Tricky fliers, and smart.
