Just a feeler.
An intrastate purchase would be helpful - in Montana. A refinish project is fine. A 25-06 would be perfect. 270 would work. 308? 7-08? 243? Definitely a wood-stocked sporter weight. NOTHING FANCY. Thanks.

Too bad you missed the Whittaker T3 blowout. They had hunters in LH 260 and 7mm-08

How about a T3 Hunter (wood stock) in 260? 1-8" twist.

OSU_Sig - might be a possibility. I'll PM you some questions. Appreciate it!
Added: Am thinking now for this project a 270, rather than 25-06, would be the top choice with 243, 308, 30-06 next.... Without going into details, old school preferred.

Any extra older rifles out there? Maybe a push feed Mod 70?

Have a Remington 700 BDL in 270. She is an older one with some hunting wear. Every little beauty mark on it seems to be of the honest type. No signs of abuse that is. However I did have Kampfeld do a Ti flute on the bolt. Please feel free to pm me if interested.
Thanks

... I thought all LH M70's were CRF. My understanding as well... What do I know - I'm a righty! Sorry guys. Just trying to find one that's sorta unloved extra maybe neglected and errr, on the inexpensive side. For a senior GoodGuy and thought Wood/Blue is what he'd be most familiar with. We'd talked over the past few years how he'd finally got a left hand rifle and really liked it. He's left eye dominant and has always had right hand rifles fired left handed... Anyways, recently he went to show me his prized left hand rifle and realized he'd given it away to a grandkid! I know he likes 25-06 and doesn't care for recoil. So, looking for something with easy off the shelf ammo choices or that I'm already set up to load... Lives in deer, antelope and elk paradise and I'd like to see if I can get him out a bit now that we're living in the same area. I can not think of a man whom I respect more... Been offered a few decent rifles and appreciate it but haven't quite found the one yet... I can blast and Cerakote as well as do anything stock related so looking used mainly. That's the story.

Maybe someone buying a 22-250 needs to recoup. LOL
Oh, wood is not necessary. Slim pickings.

I'm looking to sell a Remington Model 788 left-hand chambered in 6mm. It's not pretty, was my very first rifle I bought in 1981, but always reliable and accurate. I'm not in Montana though, in Colorado. PM me if you want to know more.

Really appreciate the offers and suggestions. Just updating this. Curiously, I find myself narrowing the field to wanting to locate a Left Hand Tikka T3 WITHOUT a stock. Again, non magnum, more standard cartridge the better. Wish I were rolling in dough rather than dohhh!

Found a classic 243 wood-n-blue left hand rifle today locally at a workable price. Appreciate all the input and offers.
Never did I realize how tough the left-hand market is, but, even a blind squirrel occasionally succeeds!
Cheers.
