Both great reads
His other books are good his collection of short stories would be my 3rd pick

Don't believe I have ever read him, what would you all say would be his best book? I really liked "Jim Rearden's Alaska", and I have a number of his other books. I have not read "Koga's Zero" but it will find its way to me soon, I think. Jim started the wildlife program at UAF straight out of grad. school in Maine. Remarkable fellow, I wish I had been able to meet him.

Casstner's Cutthroats was good too!!! Albeit novel-like. I think that's why I enjoyed it!
