New to Cerakote finished rifles. What can be used to wipe down rifles without damaging stocks and uncoated metal?

I have several rifles that are cerekoted and have yet to find an oil or solvent that causes problems with the finish. Wipeout, Montana Extreme, etc.....its all ok.
Wipe my guns down with the usual silicone or oil rag...no worries.

I just use a rag with a little rem oil on it. Works great and no worries that it will harm the cerakote...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Cerakote doesn't seem to care about solvents. I'm not sure the same would hold true if it were allowed to soak on a scratch or chip but I haven't seen any issues either.

I have seen when wipeout foam sets at the end of the barrel and runs underneath for an overnight or 24 hour soak it will attack the Cerakote. I make sure now to not let that happen.

Cerakote brand H-Series? I have sprayed Wipeout as you described and never had that happen after a long soak. Don't ask me what it will do to a Pre-64 lacquer finish though....nasty.
