I have a very old M8-3X Leupold scope. While testing some 45/70 loads this past December, something came loose in the scope and was rattling. I sent it off to Leupold service dept and just received it back today. The paperwork that accompanied the returned scope says that they rebuilt/reworked the erector system, rebuilt/reworked the adjustments and replaced the objective lens with a better lens, all without cost to me. The scope is in 100% shape now and better than when I got it many many years ago. While we all like to save money and look for bargains, when you add in this type of great service, Leupold becomes the real bargain.
Just so everyone knows, I don't work for Leupold, nor am I afiliated with them in any way. I'm just a very pleased customer that wants to pass along a great customer service experience. Companies like Leupold are very rare in this day and age and should be applauded.
