I'd like to start applying for some big game tags across the U.S. I probably won't try to make a trip this coming Fall as I have a hunt for pheasants in SD already lined up. I would like to utilize the services of a company that helps with applying for tags. What are you recommendations for these types of companies - does Cabelas have such a service?
Thanks, Dan

No, Cabela's does not do this anymore. They sold that segment of their business to Worldwide Trophy Adventures (WTA). It is the same folks at WTA that used to be Cabela's employees, they are currently located in the same building, and Cabela's site may link to them. They still do a good job, just a different letterhead. Try http://worldwidetrophyadventures.com/

You may also consider outfits like The Huntin Fool or GoHunt where they give you the skinny on each of the western states. The Huntin Fool also will submit draws for you if you want them to. I think they are $100 and $150 per year. The submission services are extra. I think USO Outfitters is another one to look up. Feel free to PM me for more info.
