Just wanted to come by and tell you about my first big game season. And what a season it turned out to be... I was asked to join the moose hunt too so I got a chance to hunt for deer _and_ moose. At the end of the season I got a total of one roe deer, five whitetail deers and two moose! What an incredible hunting season. Just couldn't believe my luck. Wasn't too bad season for my father either. He managed to shoot two roe deers, four whitetail deers and four moose. It was a fawn buck with tiny 1'' plugs in it's head. We can take two fawns with one adult deer's license here. It was a driven hunt with dachshund and I was just about to leave my stand when it came to forest opening and ran about 80 yards from me. Last deer of the season for me in January.
