Here in our own classifieds. Even though the WSM's don't bring as much as a .30-06/.270, this is priced well below market.

Seen that as soon as it was listed. Simply no use for it where I live now. Bought my son a M70 in the same caliber when we lived in Alaska for sheep, goat, and blacktail deer. Pretty difficult to find brass for it now. Loaded ammo is around but very pricey. Brass runs about $2 a case. Should make a nice antelope of mule deer rifle for someone out west.
My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I'm real tempted to buy it for no other reason than because.
A fellow had a LH 700 LSS in .30-06 recently for several hundred under the going gunbroker price and I was real, real tempted to buy it too. I PM'd him to let him know he was leaving $500 or more on the table but he was selling it for a friend and that's what the guy wanted.
Same as you, I have no use for this. A couple years ago I bought a NIB LH .270 WSM Featherweight at a little gun store in rural Idaho for a bit less than this price. It's a beautiful rifle but it's just a range toy.
If I was greedy I'd snap this up and flip it but hopefully it goes to someone who really needs/wants a great rifle to use and shoot. I'm curious to see if it's bought by someone with all of their posts in the classifieds.

Great deal and very tempting, but I'm still holding out for a LH Stainless Classic .270. Me and five thousand other guys!

That is a good deal. I'm invested in the 7wsm otherwise this one would be tempting.

I have no interest in this chambering despite having four or five .270 Winchester rifles on hand. However, I wish the seller good luck. It should not last long at that price.

Cabelas has the brass in stock for $36/bag Thanks for mentioning Cabelas, nice to see Winchester make another batch. All rifles seem to be tanking in value as of late. I suspect a lot of it has to do with Tikka and Ruger.

I wish I had the scratch...right in the middle of doing upgrades on the boat. Always wanted to try building a .458x2" American or .450M on one of these.
