How do these scopes compare to say the Bushnell Elite 4200/4500 or Nikon Monarch scopes in the same magnification range?

In my opinion just as good or better and clarity and a very rugged scope

Ditto. Great tracking too.

Currently that is the only scope that I have been using, really clear. I have both Nikons and Bushnell Elite.

All very good to hear. Thanks for the responses. I just ordered one. Can't wait to get it. The one I ordered has the BDC reticle. Can't brag much on Weaver's website instructions for the BDC calculator though.

They're still available pretty cheap on Amazon, but there seems to be some confusion about whether the one you'll get is the one in the picture.

I'm not crazy about the Euro look they have, but that's just old age. On newer looking rifles, they'd look fine.

That deal on Amazon is a steal. I paid twice that last time I bought one and that was 10 years ago.
