That serial is close to my 99R in 250, puts it around 1950. The lever boss code should be a "B", Joe.

That last one is a model 99EG, they were made from 1935 to 1959.

The EG is pretty much factory stock with the exception of having been drilled and tapped for the scope, added slug swivels and kick pad. Nice rifle but many figure that those aftermarket add ons kick the rifle down into from the collector to shooter category. I may be out of touch but the value may run a little north of 500 to a little south of 700, with the latter coming in on a good day.

PS - the finish looks dark in your pictures and it too may not be factory original. 99s of that vintage usually gave a lighter tinted color of blue.
