Cold smoked a few chuck eye's with pecan for about an hour.

Then cooked the steaks with a few twice baked potatoes.

When it came time to sear the steaks also added some garlic bread to the grill to toast.

Looks great, MM. But wouldn't grilling it over a live wood fire give all the flavor without the long smoking process?

I have done both, I don't mind experimenting with steaks... in my opinion a 10 minute hot smoke don't compare to a 60 minute cold smoke then grilled over live fire.
