Very cool, I can't wait for car show season. Zero degrees this morning as I made my walk from the house to the hot rod shop up here on the north border.
We had a big crew stop by our shop on Saturday for a shop tour. Folks from Thief river falls, Bemidji, some from Alexandria, It was fun.
My fav car out of your photos might be the 68 B body plymouth, the orange RR, post car.
I love the 68 plymouths. Not a Plymouth expert, but isn't that a '66?

There very well could have been a 66 in that photo set, but I was talking about an orange 68, first year for the road runner. 68 was first year the new look for B bodies, all variations somewhat similar 68-69-70. Dodge and plymouth.
68 had round side markers, other differences as well with grill and tail panels etc. But the side markers are a quick tell.
Something clever here.

Cool show. The engine from this car awaits putting a set of Ported 906's on it and dropping it into my 74-360 Challenger. She is long gone, started getting in the way so I pulled the engine and sold it with the 4.30 gear set Don't show SPAnky, he still doesn't know what a real Vineyard looks like, LOL

The wrap around rear glass is what jumps out to me as the difference between a '66 and a '68. I agree with you. I like the '68 much better. Here is the only one I have driven.

That looks... quick. It was the first car I ever drove into the 8's. It was a fun ride for sure.

Thanks for those pics. MOPAR shows are too far and few between, and those are some SPECTACULAR cars there. Love that 426 Wedge Short Ram - that would be an interesting ride! And Oh My God, that bronze Cuda, wow.

Sweet but I think the white dodge should be a 413 since it is not a 426 hemi. The twin cross ram induction was only put on the 413.

Yes your right I checked for 63-64 only. 425 hp capable 12 sec /1/4 mile pretty impressive. 13.5 /1 compression may have something to do with that,

Mack thanks for taking the time to bring the car show to us, very nice. There isn't a car there I wouldn't like, but have to say that Caddy convertible would be really special.

For some reason this one simply stands out to me. I always thought this model 1967 Plymouth Belvedere with squared off lines would become a classic.

What a beautiful collection of cars. I don't know if I could pick one as my favorite, but I've always loved the GTX's, but the Roadrunners are so cool, and those Challengers and Cudas always turned my crank.
I searched for a Demon when I was in high school. I thought that was the coolest name for a cool car. I never did find one, until I had spent all my car money on a 69 plum crazy purple charger.

For some reason this one simply stands out to me. I always thought this model 1967 Plymouth Belvedere with squared off lines would become a classic. Sorry for digging up an old thread. When I was in high school. One one my friends turned 16. His dad always drove old "beater" cars bought at auction or the wrecking yard. Max's dad found one if these (1966 I think ?) that had been rear ended, and totaled by the insurance company. Back in 1979, I think he paid something like $100 for the car. It was missing the trunk lid. We used it like an El Camino or Ranchero. It was a pretty fast car. One day his Dad told Max that he was going to have to sell the car. Max was pretty upset. His father told him that he could have all of the cash from the car. Apparently, someone drove by their little fruit stand, saw the car, saw that is had a 426 hemi in it and offered his dad $1500. Steve told the guy $2000 and it was his. So, Max ended up with $2000 bucks, and bought himself a new 1981 Yamaha TT500 motorcycle, much to his fathers chagrin. I'm sure that years later, he wished that he had that old "beater".

Those 67-68 Plymouth's and Pontiac's were and still are the best body shapes that ever hit the road. You youngsters won't remember those 68 Road Runners priced at $3,995. brand new. When the price of gas went up in the 70's it killed off the 60's era muscle cars and that GTX with the Hemi or 440 could be had for less than the economy engines. If a guy only knew. I had to have an jade green '68 Mustang fastback once I saw Steve McQueen in the movie Bullitt.
My other auto is a .45
The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price has faded from memory
