This is the replacement RIA Compact I received after they condemned my 12 year old pistol. It's pretty much the same gun model wise. They did remove my old grips and put them on the new one as I asked them to. This gun is "TIGHT!" Metal to metal fit is as good as a custom pistol. There is no slide play. It cycles smoothly and the trigger is actually as good as my Gold Cup as far as let off is concerned. No creep. She should shoot! It will be a week before I can take her to the range and wring her out. She has the one piece guide rod instead of the two piece that broke on the old one. Ty at RIA was a great customer service rep. Replied to my questions quickly. The only thing he didn't tell me, was why the old pistol was scrapped. [img]

What length barrel and Bob how does your 10 shoot? Speeds better than a 40?
That RIA looks nice and I bet it's a shooter.

Nice! I'm not in the know on RIA and thought they were a high end premium 1911.

Has anyone fooled with their double stack .45 or 10mm? Wondering just how wide they are.

Nice! I'm not in the know on RIA and thought they were a high end premium 1911. You might be thinking of Rock River Armory (RRA).
