Looking at one of these scopes, used, for my Anschutz 22 sporter. It has the 1/2 MOA dot reticle, adjustable objective, and capped turrets. Anybody use one of these? If so, what was your experience?

I have not used a fixed power Bigsky but have used several variables with AO. I like them and consider them a very good value. Glass in the Bigsky is the same as is in the S-III's to my knowledge. Very good. They made a 3-9x36 with AO and I wish I would have bought a half dozen of them. I have ONE!

I also don't have experience with any of the fixed models but love my 3-12x42AO. Several of my buddies have converted to Big Sky's. Excellent value IMO.

I've run my adjustments to their mechanical extremes back and fourth in every direction several times. Returned it to zero and was dead dyck on.

I've had one for several years on a 22lr. Love it. Very clear glass, and I don't recall and turret issues. Do you have a specific question?

Nothing specific, I ordered one a few days ago and it should be here early next week. Looking forward to giving it a workout on the silhouette range.
