I just received a box of 7mm 180g ELD match bullets. The claimed BC is .796. Just for fun I seated one in a 6.5 creedmoor case. At 2.81" COAL it looked pretty good. It has me wanting a 7mm creedmoor with an 8 twist 20-22" sporter.

How much of that bullet was in the case at 2.81? It'd be a easy shooter for sure.

Hornady is gonna sell a bunch of these... I've done my share to bolster their bottom line on them <g>... if they hold together ok on big game (elk etc) they are a world-beater.

The CENTER will hold.
