So I have a Tikka T3 270wsm sitting that I don't see usuing, so thought about rebarrling it to something else. The 6.5saum was and option but was curious what else I could do. Would the 26 or 28nosler be and option beings it's a Tikka?Action length is same for all tikkas,Same bolt face, would have to use a different mag or is the a reason it wouldn't work. Just thinking out loud. Any input appreciated.
Also anyone had good luck with a gunsmith rebarreling a Tikka. Thanks Jerrad

Check out Patriot Valley Arms for rebarreling your Tikka. He's one of the pioneers on the Tikka front and has also developed a barrel nut system for Tikkas that's pretty darn slick.

The 3.3 OAL really restricts LA Tikkas if you plan to Handload. If you'll shoot factory, it helps. I have not looked at the Nosler offerings, but I think even their factory ammo is 3.6"

That's why I went WSM, my 6.5-300WSM is on a tang safty Ruger. Nosler cartridges are 3.34 according to there site.
