They don't block everything, only the unconstitutional acts by the president.
Like the powers granted to the president by the Constitution? When states take federal money, they have to adhere to federal law. Your post is pure liberal bullschidt.

The issue of constitutionality wasn't addressed in the order. That will be addressed at a later date. The issue is whether Trump's act could cause immediate irreparable harm to the public in those cities. This judge found that such harm was likely. Trumps legal team will have their day in court on this down the line. Just not today.

The constitutional issue to be determined when the day comes is whether Trump's order can place new conditions on those federal funds.
It's a toss-up as I see it.

Adherence to federal law has always been a condition of federal money. More importantly, it's a condition of statehood.

How about when President Trump ordered the travel ban well with in his powers and the SOB judge blocked the order so that more terrorists could be let into the country.
The judge stepped over the Presidents powers to make the country a more dangerous place to live. Impeachment or death the judges need to choose which one they want.
A civil war is on the makins.

I'm just wonder when Trump and his AG are gonna start playing hardball? This. That order simply needs to be ignored; stop the funds & let them sue. It would take years to get through the courts & in the meantime, the money flow will have been stopped. Just listen to them howl then. MM This ^

Trump's fault. Got it... That's not the harm that is contemplated. The harm that is contemplated is that local police may not be able to do their jobs properly because now they would have additional responsibilities in assisting ICE agents. Additionally, it could also produce a situation whereby minority community members would be dissuaded from calling the police to report crimes, fires, emergencies etc. for fear of bringing law inforcement and emergency service agents into their community. These issues, along with the the constitutionality of Trump's order will be decided by a trial court at a later date. Then an appeals court, then the SCOTUS if it gets that far.

Any judge who does anything other than making sure that laws and or regulations reconcile with the Constitution are in violation of their oaths and deserve the Ceausescu treatment.
For judges to properly reconcile law with the constitution, they have to be strict constructionists.

BS. All they have to do is call ICE and hold them for pick-up. Nobody is asking them to be border patrolmen.
Additionally, it could also produce a situation whereby minority community members would be dissuaded from calling the police to report crimes, fires, emergencies etc. for fear of bringing law inforcement and emergency service agents into their community.
Then they need to get their illegal asses out of our country. Nobody forced them to break the law and risk deportation by staying here illegally.
These issues, along with the the constitutionality of Trump's order will be decided by a trial court at a later date. Then an appeals court, then the SCOTUS if it gets that far.
I'm familiar with the challenge and appeals process.

It needs to happen while we have some semblance of power in the government as well. I have NO DOUBT that Hillary or Obama would use the military against it's own citizens. As would any other liberal.

I like how aiding and abetting criminals has become legal
Federal law states that you are required to be in this country LEGALLY and some States and City's have taken it upon them selves to re write Federal law to suit there own wants.
Everyone of these administrators of the States and City's that want Sanctuary for Law Breakers should be put in irons and hauled of to jail them selves for not obeying the Law of the land.

They should not only lose federal monies, but the right to vote in federal elections as well.

These judges need to be arrested for violation of civil rights and hate crimes.

Most Americans feel as you do so you got that going for you. One major issue to be decided is whether the feds can add conditions upon those federal funds to cities after the fact. In other words, since the precise amount of money was granted to each city for specific purposes can additional responsibilities be levied upon those cities (like forcing local law enforcement to become "deputized" ICE Agents) without increasing the federal funds to those cities? The judge said no. We shall see.

If you pay attention long enough you will find that most attorneys are more "liberal" than most other American. Even famously "conservative" attorneys and judges are more "liberal" than most Americans. Studying and applying the law makes it so. Even Neil Gorsuch will leave you scratching your head at some point in the next few months and he is the holy grail of conservatives.
