i picked up this old single shot target rifle circa 1870+. my question would this be a legal black powder target rifle. it's the equivalent of a 32/40. i wanted to use it at BP shoots.

Depends on who's shoots. It would be legal at ours. It's not going to be a bpcr silhouette rifle however and for several reasons starting with its lack of horsepower. Brent
