No shooting but I made a jig today for drilling retainer pin holes in ramrod tips!

What a bunch of animals. I headed into San Antonio to see a play followed by a very good dinner with my wife.

10mm Glock 20 and a Ruger Redhawk 44 Mag
10mm's a blast, left my old 44 handing in it's belt rig in the safe. I did not shoot good with my 44 today. Not sure why. Hit a 5" gong 9 of 10 shots with the Glock offhand at 35yds. I need to shoot it more.
When I die I hope I don't start voting democrat.

Too preoccupied with putting the finishing touches on some cast bullets to do any shooting. In the process I found a 850 gr .50 cal two piece bullet and a 900 gr .56 that's the plinker bullet for an old Perry side hammer gun.
And a factory round of .25 ACP.
Someday I'll find the middle of the road.
I am..........disturbed.

the siding driller i have been after for a month. he made the mistake of landing on a snag about 150 yards out. 223 fmj ended his drilling holes in my house.

I shot a stretch of monofilament about a thousand times... Did you pull any supper back? We caught some big fish. Now that Photobucket has gone belly-up I'm having a hard time with pics... Didn't shoot this but wanted to see if my PB account would still work. Here's a pic of my 45-75 from a couple years back.

I planted 65 Caragana, Buffalo currant, and Sumac. Ended the day wielding the mighty spade on a prairie rattler that scared the bejeezuz out of me. Heading back out this morning to water.

Assuming that your Sumac is the same as ours, why would you plant it? miles
Look out for number 1, don't step in number 2.

Details Man, we need details. [quote=2legit2quit]my foot lol figuratively not literally Spent the day at work and you know how some days things just flow along nicely and smoothly? Well yesterday wasn't one of those 😠 So spent the evening at the bro in laws fire pit celebrating ours and their youngest bdays I did get shot at several times by Jose Cuervo. And bastid must have connected with a few as I feel decidedly older and less stable this morning We really need to build a wall. Damn lil Mexican anyway
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.

Do no know what kind of sumac you have, but this is for soil stabilization, wildlife habitat, fall color. Going to be better than erosion and rocks. Also broadcast spread a bunch of winterfat earlier this spring. Planted some Freeman maples, and have ponderosa pine, cedar, and spruce yet to get into the ground.
The shrubs get planted, some mulch and a good watering. Then they are pretty much on their own.
The trees will get more TLC. Weed barrier and protection from cattle and rambunctious deer. And extra watering.
Our property is mostly geographical in cover and does not hold wildlife like it should. Animals are very easily displaced by activity. Trying to add some plant habitat, especially in eroded areas.
Have planted Harbin pears, Nanking cherries, cedars, pine and spruce in the past
