DLFant: I have about given up trying to find a "deal" on a used Ruger 77/17 Hornet V/T for myself!
I do have an as new set of R.C.B.S. 17 Hornet dies - one of my friends loaded 50 rounds of ammo for his 17 Hornet and arthritis (numb fingers!) made him decide to sell me the as new dies and two unopened fifty packs of Hornady 17 Hornet brass.
This friend of mine is going to use factory ammo for his light duty Varminting.
Meanwhile I am two+ years into trying to find the aforementioned Ruger 77/17 Hornet V/T (heavy barrel) with NO success - and I fear the search is going to become MORE difficult as time goes by.
I got to shoot another visiting friends Ruger 77/17 Hornet V/T again this spring - and its a Ground Squirrel harvesting machine!

Ha Ha Ha Huntsman is right.
Actually I have one each in the Savage 25, the Cz 527, and the Ruger. 77. I guess I should do a review Haha. I Prairie dog hunt so when they come out I got one of each to see which I liked best. the short version of the story is while they all have certain aspects I liked the Ruger is my pick, I always take at least 3 guns. The plan from the start was to pick the one I preferred. Then replace the other 2 with 2 of the same gun just to make it simpler using the same mags. and such.
