Well the good guys won a nail biter in the last inning, 7-6. They played a great game against a good shoreview team. Jack pitched well. Was working his fastball and mixing a change up and a curveball you're not supposed to throw in little league. it was working, the timber rattlers didn't score the innings he pitched. He had 2 RBI singles and 3 steals. His buddy on the team, Dalton, SMASHED a 3 run HR, which they needed badly.

Damn, Tom! I'm sorry. I figured the game would be cancelled for field conditions or rain for sure. Tell Jack congrats!

Well, three days into the radiation treatment now. No noticeable symptoms so far. Hope it stays this way. 8 weeks of treatments. So far so good.

LOL. That's an image a man can do without...

No Light Sabre to guide your way to the bathroom at night? LMAO That was good! Jeff - I hope all goes well and the side effects are minimal. Although.......a light sabre would be pretty cool....

And of course you'd have to make the light sabre noise when it's first deployed. Scene: Dark bedroom. Wife sleeping. Walk in and open robe just as she opens her eyes......"Wuuunnnnnggggggg"

May the Force be with you. And if you look like a Wookie, some manscaping might be in order.

'Had my first consult with the radiation clinic dr. (after starting the treatments) yesterday. 'Says I should really have no symptoms until 4-6 weeks in, and then to expect fatigue, increased urination, and difficulty/pain with urination, but that that should pass. The only thing I notice so far is that I can cook a pot pie just by setting it in my lap. Other than that, everything's just hunky dorey.

By the way guys-I'm officially an old fart now. My daughter in law gave birth to my first grandchild this morning. Esther Anne. Mother and daughter are doing fine. Of course my son is a proud papa but still a stubborn little weenie, for sure. Looking for a 99 chambered for .243 to give her before my kid goes and gets her an AR or some such thing.

Congrats Grandpa!
Boy the "old time" names are sure back in force aren't they? The names of our grandparents, great grandparents are back in style and I like it.

They wouldn't tell us what the were naming her. Of course, knowing it was a girl, and with my name being Jeff, I granted them my blessings to name the little babe Jeffreyetta, but somehow, they chose not to go that route.......

Just got caught up with a few pages here. I see Jack is winning his baseball games and Goph is glowing like the northern lights.
Another fishing story today. My boys tag teamed to real in a fish I hooked. I thought it was a carp at first. Much to my surprise, a 38" pike was swimming around with my jig. Some good pictures and we let it go. Darn big pike for the Alexandria area.
What you do today is important, you are trading a day in the rest of your life for it.

Hey Beretta-count me in for your Youth Day as usual. I'll ask Cathy if she's coming.
