It's funny. sometimes I'm reading a thread and somebody posts on it and I see they have been here for 10 years or more and only have a couple hundred posts.
I guess I'm one of them. I wonder how many guys are like me and read a lot of the posts but don't post very much?
Hundreds probably?
Just a bored observation on a Friday.
Grammar is important.
Capitol letters are the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" & "helping your uncle jack off a horse".

A few years ago, there was a movement on the part of some of the real members to not permit posting by anyone until he (or she) had at least 1,000 posts. Perhaps that enters in.

I visit the fire almost every day. Sometimes only read a few posts that catch my eye. Mostly just here for entertainment and the free beer.

Many folks read regularly but do not post much, or at all - one of my friends say he is "lurking" - and that seems quite normal. A high post count means just about zero. Quality is a good measure - quantity, not so much.

I have found that I don't need to express My opinion on every subject. And some people just like to hear themselves talk (post). Post count is pretty meaningless to me, except if I want to buy something out of classifieds here, I look at post count. A person with 1,2,10 or so posts won't get my money.
