All:

Since the DL is one of the later models in Savage 99 production, how common are DLs in 300 Savage?

Thank you,
RAS

I think not very common, but I would defer to Roy on that one, Joe.

Very uncommon, but not impossible to find

I don't know that I have ever seen anything other than a cut checkered 300 DL. Pretty sure Savage had all but given up on the 300 before 1965...

Ok, thanks guys.

I have one with pressed checkering. It is pretty nice. Will get serial number tomorrow.

Again, pressed checkering.

1,089,1XX is the serial #.

What is the date of manufacture?

Thank you
