What kinda cold bore shot results are you guys getting from these rifles??? Are they right there amongst the rest of the shot string/group? Just curious.

Hate Bezos, the owner, but she shore is handy in Middle Tennessee. Can't wait for 3-minute drone delivery from Exit 81 fulfillment center!

UPS finally delivered my Barrett to my FFL @ 17:00 yesterday. I received it this afternoon, installed and lightly lapped the rings, then mounted a Leopold FX-II, 6X36 LRD I bought from another forum member. Amazingly light for me at about 5 5/8# with scope, LW Talleys and bikini scope covers on my not so accurate bathroom scale.

Will try to shoot it tomorrow afternoon or Thursday. I have Hornady 143 ELD-X, 140 and 147 ELD match as well as Nosler 140 CC Match Grade to try. I'll be pleased if I can come close to shooting as well as other members of the forum with Barrett Fieldcraft Rifles.

I think I'm really going to like this rifle!

You are all a bunch of enablers!

My Fieldcraft 6.5 Creedmoor weighs 5 lbs 4.8 ounces on a postal scale. 6 lbs 12 ounces with a 6x SWFA and Talley lows. Right now shooting Hornady 147 ELD-M and RL 26, 5 shots into .7 at 100 yards. Not quite done with load development, but very close.

I like my 6.5 cm so well that I bought the 18 inch version in 308 to use with my suppressor. Couldn't pass up the Whittaker moving sale price. Wish I had bought the 6.5 there but I wasn't patient enough to wait for it to be in stock. I see another in my future once they are available in all of the offered cartridges.

Mine should be arriving tomorrow. Saw your post about the $300 Howa and realized you had the Fieldcraft in stock. I just wish I would have realized it sooner. I ended up missing out on the moving sale by a day or two.

I had range time with my new rifle Thursday afternoon. With 10 to 15 mph winds I wasn't expecting much, but wanted to get it on paper. Bore sighted at 50 and fired two 3 round groups of .44" and .33" with Nosler Match Grade Ammo-140 CC. Moved to 100 yds and fired 4 rounds 2.1" centered on the target. Then 10 rounds on a new target in 2.15" with 5 in .8". Not knowing whether it was my poor shooting or a dirty barrel, I cleaned it and let it cool for about 20 minutes. Switched to 140 ELD-X for a base zero with 5 round groups. First was 5 in 1.42" with 3 in .32, second group was 5 in 1.12" 3 in .6".

This rifle wants to put them close together but I need to work on my technique shooting from the bench. Will try again on a morning when there is less wind and see how well it shoots at 200, 300 and 400 yards. I think I will be investing in lots more range time this summer honing my skills shooting this light a rifle from field positions. This is a dream to carry and the rifle shoots much better than I can at my current skill level with it. It's a keeper! :-)
