This is one of the original factory Weatherbys made in South Gate, on FN Mauser actions specifically produced for Weatherby, with Weatherby-made barrels and stocks.

This particular .300 Weatherby has a 24-inch sporter barrel with open sights, a factory-installed Timney trigger, and walnut stock with pretty nice fiddleback and Pachmayr recoil pad imprinted "Weatherby's, Tomorrow's Rifles Today, South Gate, Calif." According to the serial number it was made in 1955. Bare weight is 7-1/4 pounds. Will also include a list of handloads. It's in good to very good condition, and would be happy to send photos to anybody interested who PM's me their regular e-mail address.

Am asking $795, which includes insured shipping. Will takes whatever form of payment is easiest for the buyer.

All photos send to those who asked. Some are considering the rifle, but so far nobody has said the magic words.

I dunno either, as I copied and pasted your e-mail address.

However, somebody just said they'd take it, so the rifle is spoken for anyway.

kenster,

Thanks. Still dunno what happened to the photos I sent to you. My e-mail shows the message as "sent," with the photos. Sorry.
