how some of the BS that is on outdoor tv now ever gets aired is beyond me. It's almost as if the anti hunting people are running the programs and will eventually use it as ammunition against us.
Meateater, Randy Newberg and Western Hunter are about it for me. I'm sure there are a few more that are decent & good people. But the self proclaimed pro this or pro that wears me out.
I'm glad this guy got caught and prosecuted, you know this isn't a first for hm.

He was also cited for purchasing more than the authorized number of deer tags I've often wondered how these guys do that. In Idaho, you buy your tags through a computerized system, either at a vendor or online, that links the tag to your license. If there's one already linked, it's rejected.

Big Bill is a @SS, loud mouth bragger, I do not like him or his show at all. The first time I saw the show I was amazed he was from Louisiana. He sure doesn't act like us Cajuns. Glad he got caught!
I bet this ends his outdoor career! People are starting to talk about it today here in South Louisiana. I saw comments on louisianasportsman.com, they are bashing him on Facebook too!

Big Bill is a drunk and a douche bag, and his kids are following in his footsteps when it comes to being douche's as well. Bill needs to lay off the Grecian Formula 44 too.

Big Bill Busbice is a legendary dirtbag. When he fenced in his Louisiana property he fenced other landowners property in with his. He won in court because he's in the pocket of the local politicians.

Hunting shows turn a fun heritage into a business and encourage short cuts to get footage and meet production deadlines. What's the fun in that from a sportsperson's perspective? I don't watch any of them.

Good. The guy is an insufferable blow hard .....
As is most of them. Entertainment value maybe, but very few hold my attention as a legitimate hunting show. There's a few but they're scarce. Run me around to a bunch of different lodges or private deer managed farms, put me in a box stand with a good quality rifle and scope, and I'll lay down whatever walks into the field on a weekly show as well. Big whup. It might impress me if i was 6. That has about as much relevance to being a hunter as somebody eating in high priced restaurants every night would have to being a top Chef.

NEW YORK (June 27, 2017) – Following charges of poaching an elk in La Barge Creek, Wyoming, Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks has suspended the show Wildgame Nation and host Bill Busbice, Jr. from appearing on Outdoor Channel. The announcement was made today by Jim Liberatore, CEO and President of Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks. The suspension is effective immediately.
“Outdoor Sportsman Group is committed to legal and ethical hunting,” said Liberatore. “We have strict policies and procedures in place that require all of our talent and producers to abide by all hunting regulations. We hold our employees to the highest of standards in order to ensure that we are effectively serving the outdoor community. As a result of the recent charges in Wyoming involving Bill Busbice, Jr., we have suspended the show and Busbice indefinitely from Outdoor Channel.”
