So, then when Americans acquire her personal info they begin to let her know what the price of expressing her freedom is gonna be. For some, the death of her entire family is listed in the price tag for others just hers.

What does she do? She asks the Americans to not include her family in the angst held against her.

On a different note, weren't we all crying yesterday that CNN would threaten to out HanA**holeSolo (Reddit user who made the original Trump/Wrestlemania-CNN meme) and that was wrong? There's 2 sides here. She deserves condemnation, her family deserves to not be involved. Not death threats. That said, apparently SCOTUS decided desecrating the flag is protected speech so let's use our freedom of speech within the law to condemn her without the threat of violence unless the need to defend ourselves should arise. Let us not be hypocrites, as much as we would like to be. Carry on.

Sorry but I am of the opinion that a nation's flag is more than material to use as a toilet contrivance.

I think of our flag in a military context, the symbol it was originally meant to represent. Harming it is harming the USA. That's the reason we have the Flag Code.

This deserved its own reply. We disagree here. There's a reason gun ownership is #2 to freedom of speech in U.S. The Bill of Rights in my opinion. We must be free to criticize our government without retaliation from said government... and when the government retaliates we have the right to defend ourselves against a tyrannical government. The government, as our founding fathers knew, would grow to protect itself if left unchecked by the people.

Under our laws as currently interpreted, she has the right to piss on the flag. She shouldn't, and most of us (Americans) know this if only implicitly. She ought not piss on the flag. She doesn't like it, get tha fugg out. Saudia Arabia is really nice this time of year.

I don't have a better way to show the people what's best for them other than to rule as dictator so that they may benefit. That never works. Nothing works forever. Politics is turmoil until the state goes broke and dissolves. These days with "the state" meaning a "global economy/world" I don't have a clue.

I have SOME faith in our legal system though. At a local level. And not much past that.

I've never heard of her. What she does is completely unimportant to the ongoing history of the world. You can just ignore her and nothing will come of it.
