after almost 6 months I have the DNA test results

1.4% Neanderthals
2 % Europe
96.6% Asia Minor

really ? there are more than 50 different ethnic groups and races in that region , just to name a few :
Baloch, Kurds, Gilaks, Lurs, Mazanderanis, Ossetians, Pashtuns, Pamiris, Persians, Tajiks, Talysh people, Wakhis and Yaghnobis.

looks like their data base has no data from Asia.

and somehow I have a common dna with Abraham Lincoln , Tesla and a few others.

As interesting as the test might be, I'll take it with a small grain of salt.

I'm not sure how a DNA test would tell much more than general IMHO.

Ancestry has always been a personal thing, the info passed down, of course that rarely takes you back really far, IIRC we have ours to the 1800s easily and maybe back to the 1600s in some areas.

Just simple DNA, for this, never tells the whole story...

I can't actually believe folks pay for this DNA stuff... or believe it for that matter.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if separate DNA samples taken from the same person were sent to each of the various companies marketing the DNA ancestry tests to the general public now and each came back with somewhat differing results. .

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.

I don't understand why anyone would be concerned about "more susceptible to some illnesses." Seems to me that knowing you MIGHT POSSIBLY MAYBE contract some disease in the future would just give you something more to worry about.

I have more actual things in life to worry about than what MIGHT happen to me 10, 20, 50 years down the line. grin

Just my opinion.

A friend of mine had some inlaws, now ex-inlaws, that, without permission, drank a bottle of his unobtanium grade sipping whisky by mixing it with Dr. Pepper or some such.
