have you noticed in small ponds plant particles move rapidly and bunch up together as if they are magnetized ? this violates laws of physics and it's called brownian motion ( named after Robert Brown ).
can you name other brownian motions ? Hint : heroin addicts , Drunk uncle Kevin.

P. My apologies upfront, but no, that is not Brownian Motion. You might want to look it up. https://www.thoughtco.com/brownian-motion-definition-and-explanation-4134272A side effect of surface tension is why the clump - the "cheerios effect". And neither one violates "laws" of physics. Guess I'm feeling a little pendantic tonight.

By definition it is impossible to violate the laws of physics.
TRANSGRESSING the laws of physics is another thing entirely.

I thought it was what happened after some bad Mexican food. Or maybe it's when too many wetbacks hop into the Rio Grand all at once and all that brown water floods the border.

I think a few people rolled in their graves after reading this , mass and energy move from High to low , period ! if you open a hot oven door , you expect hot air and steam to freely pour into the kitchen , right ? nobody has been able to explain the Brownian Motion yet ! P.

Random motion of colloidal particles is known as Brownian Movement. It is the motion due to the impacts of molecules of a dispersion medium against the colloidal particles in that medium. The Brownian movement of colloidal particles is an important factor in causing them to remain suspended indefinitely instead of settling under the influence of gravitation. Hence it accounts, in part, for the permanence of colloidal dispersions such as an egg white.
First observed in 1827 by Robert Brown in a suspension of pollen grains in water.

I think a few people rolled in their graves after reading this , mass and energy move from High to low , period ! still not talking about Browning Motion
if you open a hot oven door , you expect hot air and steam to freely pour into the kitchen , right ? and nope, no Browning motion here eithernobody has been able to explain the Brownian Motion yet ! well, not until Albert Einstein did in 1905, then the rest of us pretty well got it after thatP.
