Just my WAG but I'd bet the hybrid has a somewhat modified jacket to work better on game.

Ballistic Coefficient for one thing. Hunter listed at .606 and the Target at .618. May be some differences in toughness too.

The "hybrid" part may refer to a hybrid between a tangent and secant ogive. It's something with characteristics of both. I also think PJGunner is correct, the "Elite Hunter" is designed to expand for use on game while the "Hybrid Target Bullet" is possibly an FMJ round.

They are both a Hybrid design of both a tangent and secant ogive. The elite hunter has a thinner jacket like a VLD. The Hybrid target has a thicker jacket.
What are you planning on shooting them in?
