Rlott, Sounds like you guys had fun. Seattle can be a great city with decent people. There's always something to do and places to eat at all hours and it's unique in its setting. Taking a ferry for daily commutes, football games, etc is a fun way to travel (usually) and a part of life up here. I'm always happy to hear that our city treats visitors well because I remember the older Seattle. I'm starting to sound like my grandpa when I prefer the old to the new. Less people, less traffic, better fishing. I haven't done any crabbing this summer with everything I've got going on but when it opens this winter I'll hit it hard. There's much less pressure during the winter season and it's open 7 days a week so I just keep my pots out and collect and rebait every day or 2.

Hi, Bob. Good to "see" you here. Hope all is well for you. I'm just sticking my nose back in here the last couple days myself.

I see that the site has changed in function and not for the better if you view on a mobile device like I do. Oh, well, change happens.

I'll up the power on my readers.

Back at you Dana and Teri. I miss hunting and socializing with you both. Hope all is well.

Mark...about 85% done but far better off than the "f*** this" I was saying to myself 2 weeks ago. Hope all is well with you and the family.

Thank you Doc and Bruin.

Hi Bob!

So you moved to a new hacienda. Did you downsize or move into a gated community?

Welcome back! Wondered if you'd moved to Siberia or similar.. Re: the cruise - we're scheduled for this next April, but I'm about an inch away from cancelling due to the bullchit airline fees.. And a RT ticket is NOT a RT ticket... Oh, no, my friends, the price includes about 80%.. Once you're at the first destination, they wanna charge another $60-$90, over an above the initial fee, to get BACK... Rant on that's over..

BTW, Virginia's beautiful. That Shenandoah Valley run was OUTstanding..

Due to your long absence you have a probationary period of yet to be determined duration.

Since I am on the Rules Committee you should avoid disagreeing with me until we release our finding.

I'm on Camano Island up north, just south of the San Juan islands and while it's an hour and a half to Seattle it's a world away. Rural small farms and fishermen so lots of fresh grown and locally caught seafood keeps me happy. If you ever want a tour guide I'd be happy to show you around.

Ditto from Bothell. The islands are where it's at.
