For all you guys on the eve of archery seasons opening across the West... hunt hard, be safe, learn something... leave it all on the mountain this year. Here's to filling up the freezer boys. I'll be in CO GMU 53 with all the other NR OTC'ers (Texans) tripping around the unit from the 13th through the 24th.

Idaho's archery season opens 8/30 and hunters in southern ID will be trading their camos for Hawaiian shirts and shorts. We have a heat wave coming in with temps in the upper 90's.
One time, years ago, we had a heat wave and I thought I'd try hunting in shorts. STUPID! The sagebrush shredded my legs and sweat kept the scratches burning all afternoon.
