Hi guys. I worked up a dandy load for my 8 twist .22-250 with a max charge of varget. Anybody have any experience with this bullet on coyotes/groundhogs/crows etc.? Would really like first hand feedback.
Thanks,
Rob.

heck, even out of a 223, it is 'more than enough bullet' for the coyotes...

ground hogs and crows, it will shred them when hit... turn the impact sight into coleslaw

in a 22.250.. its just more of a good thing, at a longer distance, and more flat shooting.

heck hitting the crow or ground hog with a 30/06 won't do much more of making a mess than
that 60 grain ballistic tip will...

I have a lot of experience with the bullet on varmints...out of a .223AI...its an excellent bullet and usually fur friendly. Tried them on larger game and the box is right, its a " Varmint" bullet.but does well with precise shot placement on smaller big game...blackbuck, doe antelope, and brain shots on pigs.

That combination will kill.

So will the 80 grain a-max.

I just loaded up some 60gr. BT's & V-Max's tonight for my 16" bbl. 223 700. Think I'll try them out Sunday.
Win. Brass, BR-2, 24.5grs Benchmark. I'm estimating velocity to be around 2800fps.

Checking this thread I was in my reloading room... 34 gr. Varget and winchester primer. Got to shoot through a chrony soon. 1.5" group off pods at 250 yards. Works for me.
