We hope the front that is forecast to come in later today slows the hundreds of thousands of acres that are burning and that have pumped dense smoke into our area over the past 6 weeks.

We hope the front that is forecast to come in later today slows the hundreds of thousands of acres that are burning and that have pumped dense smoke into our area over the past 6 weeks. Yeah that for damn sure. The cloud cover is getting thicker up here and I hope that the predicted squall materializes. It was so damn smokey here yesterday I couldn't see across the bay. We haven't had much snow here the last several years and I hope that we're do for a decent winter for once. I enjoy watching people ditch their SUV's in the freeway and walk home when we get 3" of snow. 😁

thank you, but my world would have sucked if we (wife and I) would have had a breakdown or got stuck 30 miles in on progressively crappy dirt roads. we were the only ones that far, but there were some hunters parked 5 miles back.... but after the last six weeks of miserable heat and drought, I couldn't wait to play in the snow!

I can see snow up in the Park through Bad Rock. Waiting for a nice fall day for a "colors" spin. Should be good. The larch are starting to tint down in the middle Swan, kind of early but given the drought and smoke, I'm not super surprised.
