I try to drink a gallon. Any less than that and I start to get a headache.
For someone my size, a gallon might not be enough.

Interesting thing about water.
My old buddy has a serious Mountain Dew addiction. To the point where his teeth are suffering from it.
I told him to schit can the Dew and drink water for a week.
He said he never felt better, but after that week he went back to the pop.
I am MAGA.

I'm at a good gallon a day...mostly sugarless, caffeine-free iced tea. Supplimented on rare occasion with a carbonated barley/malt beverage.

I make and drink 50-60 oz a day of green tea[decaf, very lite sugar]. After dinner I switch to water and usually get 20-30 oz. I was MD then DietMD drinker up until about 10 years ago when I switched. Big difference in how I felt immediately.

Not nearly enough, according to my doctor and "The Warden" Both ladies persist in trying to convince me to drink more water - and less beer

Somewhere around a gallon. Some is in decaf tea I keep at home (no sugar), some in a couple of protein shakes, and the rest is just plain water. I don't really count coffee in there.
Now with even more aplomb

There's no set amount of water for everybody. If you don't drink enough water so you have to take a leak fairly often you're not drinking enough water.

2-3 glasses of green tea,2-3 glasses of plain water everyday.
soda pop is a killer. i built a house a few years back for a good friend. he was a soda addict, carried one with him all day. he wanted to do his own wiring, plumbing and heating in his house and couldn't because of his back bothering him. i talked him into drinking nothing but water for a month to see if he felt better. he's a new man because of giving up soda drinks.

Had my first and hopefully my last dance with kidney stones last year at the age of 56. Kinda snickered at others as they told me the pain stories until then. COULD NOT WALK doubled over in pain. Anyhow one of the preventatives for recurrence is to drink lots of water. WATER water. Not water in tea, cola, beer, gatorade, koolaid. I don't measure how much water a day I drink, but seems like I pee anywhere between 10-15 times a day.
