Those are both Mod 36 Chief Specials (J-Frame). Hard to tell size of S&W in photos. Photo below shows a K frame with two J frames. Not a good photo though.

Thanks for the pics, I really like that second one with the old photos! I hope this thread has some legs as some of the members here do amazing work with gun pics!
Biden's most truthful quote ever came during his first press conference, 03/25/21. Drum roll please...... "I don't know, to be clear." and THAT is one promise he's kept!!!

Thanks. That 2nd and 4th one has my grandfather in it. He was stationed as a Cadet Airman at Kelly Field in WW1. Flew Jenny's and was about to be deployed over in Europe and the war ended before he was shipped out. He attended U of Nebraska, played the fiddle (2nd from left, front row) and played "End" (before there was tight end, there was 'end') for the Cornhuskers. He was on the team when they upset Knute Rockne's Fighting Irish in the early 20's. Lower right--> Grandpa

Here is my favorite, Grandpa's post cards, he wrote on the back of each of these and sent them to his sister in 1919. I donated these to the Kelly Field Museum last year as they were in perfect condition and my kids would just toss something like this.

I used to only shoot shotguns and rimfires, then I made the mistake of getting a subscription to handloader.......

I like the simplicity of the third image and the nostalgia in the fourth.

Photo's really are great. But, got a question. Where did you get the holster in the first photo? Stunning!

Don, from my relative who passed away in June. It's a beautiful leather belt/1911 holster combo. That's real gold surrounding the best General/President this country ever had.
