Can anyone tell me the thread size of the butt stock to frame bolt? I can't find an 8 inch one so I'll try to make one. Thanks, Bruce

5/16" X 22 Someone on here was making them but I don't recall who. He was using a hex head bolt and rethreading.

Gary Groshel was. (But I have his threading die at the moment so don't bother asking him!)

It's also known as "5/16" British standard, fine thread", if you are searching for threaded stock.

6mm250 (Mike) was offering hex-head bolts, correct thread, correct length a while back
