This is a mid 90's ADL , bought it here a few years back. Great shooter and is in really good shape, comes with Leupold 1" rings. These are nice rifles, had one in .280 also but a friend "needed it" more than me. $550 shipped lower 48 to your FFL from a non FFL

Actually, that's a 1993 M700 ADL SS. Mtn rifle with the synthetic-tupperware stock. It was a one year offering. Mine in 270 is the most accurate factory rifle I have. Shoots every bullet I've tried well--including the original Barnes X.. More so, some of the tupperware stocks in 92 and 93 were made by a different vendor and were significantly lighter than usual.

Only thing is the safety lever is blued, all of the ones I've seen were SS. Does the bolt lock with the safety on?

Thank you AC, a better description than I put up for sure. I have worked with several of these and they all shot above their class. The barrel on this is 20" and the stock (although injection molded) is better than the newer version. As for the safety-this is most likely a different trigger but it's a Remington. Good pick up on that. This is one that I'll probably regret letting go, I was going to send it on to Montana with my brother and nephew when they move so it would be there waiting for me grin but I have a .280 KS in an Edge stock that really wants to go

Are you sure on the 20" barrel? It should have been a 22" originally.

It does measure 22 to the receiver, I don't know what I was thinking.....

Those stocks are like the Ruger 77 All-weather. You can spend any amount of money on a premium stock but you won’t get any more accurate, slim, and durable than those cheapos.

Thats even when they ain’t free floated I might add.
