sometimes you have to learn the hard way what your preferences are, and some guns/ optics that look great on paper just don't work for you, In the last 15 years, I've gotten all smitten and bought/built some uber varmint/long range/ tactical rifle and scope and then turned around and sold it... This is going to be the last time I swear!!!

Payment is by USPS money order, Paypal +3%, cashiers check or bank check (will wait for funds to clear before shipping)

First up:

Kimber Open Country 6.5 creedmoor
--- purchased new a few months back from Whittakers (you can see the price in the photos). Less than 50 rounds down the tube, shoots the 2 Hornady loads I tried 1" and 1.2" at 100. It can do better, I just don't have the desire to mess with it. I like my guns short and light, this thing is very light for a heavy barrelled rifle, but it has a 26" tube and thats just not going to work for me... time to pass it along:

comes with a nightforce 1 piece 20MOA base on it. heres the pricing:

$1750 includes shipping in either the factory box or a plastic hard case

+$50 if you want me to ship it in a hard case and ship factory box separately.

+$50 if you need me to ship it from an FFL

Leupold MK4 LR/T 4.5-14x50 with Impact 29 reticle M1 knobs--- This scope has been a proven performer on another rifle, I find I don't like exposed turrets. the reticle on this thing is great, I had a buddy who had never shot anything but a .22 ringing steel plates just using the holdovers on this thing on top of a .308. It comes with Leupold Mk4 rings "High" and has a slight mark where the objective bell meets the main tube, mark is shown in the pics. comes with the box here the pricing:

$1200 includes shipping.

-$75 without the rings

Trades considered (with possible money going whichever way is appropriate):

glass:
"alpha" scopes with a max magnification of 12X
"alpha" 10X binoculars
Leupold VX6-non CDS
Trijicon low powered hunting scopes
Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x scopes MOA adjustments

Firearms
Kimber Rifles Mountain Ascent/ Adirondack preferred
Ruger RSI rifles (M77 or No.1)
Browning Citori in 20Ga with straight (English) stock
Browning Citori in 28Ga

Thank you!

Free bump for probably the most honest reason-for-sale story I've seen in awhile: "I goofed up and bought something wrong for me" Thank You Mr. Duct (?). Truth is I've done the same thing many times myself. For every 'I bought it for $300 and sold it for $500' instances I have, there are ten where I took a financial hit. I'm a certified member of that slow-learner club.

P.S. Nice rifle!

"Expensive Mistake" I have an ex-wife that falls in that category, and maybe a couple of rifles.

so I totally mis-priced the scope.... I've had it confused with another I bought at the same time. This is more realistic:

SCOPE REDUCED TO $700

RIFLE Still at $1700

RIFLE AND SCOPE REDUCED TO $2300
