Didn't want to step on Angus 1895 Pics or Wyo 1895 2nd childhood thread so am starting my own.

Below is a before and after picture of my recent frame up restoration of a 1947 Willys that I have owned for a number of years.

Apologies for the 1919 Browning. Couldn't find anything with Savage on it that would fit the machine gun mount.

Beautiful Restoration griz. Jeeps are my thing. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your new ride.

WOW Griz! That looks fantastic!
Top it off with inert M2 Browning twin 50's up top! Then have someone man them and drive through rush hour traffic! smile Of course, in South Dakota, that rush hour might be during pheasant season. :p

Incredible work.

Be proud of that one!

Someone in Wisconsin is selling Model 1919's that are semi auto and fire 308's. Is it one of those? David

Yeah, the 1919 has been converted to semi auto. I could not afford a full auto. A guy here in Rapid City did the conversion for me. It is in original 30-06 caliber. I guess they do have a crank you can get for these that will fire up to about 450 rounds per minute. You can see them work on you Tube. I never did investigate them cause i have other things to do other than reload '06 rounds 24-7.

Do you have the machine that links the ammo? It would get real tedious linking them by hand. David
